“I felt like I came here underrated,” Keldon Johnson says with a sense of pride. “So I felt like I just had to go out there and kill ’em, demolish ’em.”

Mission accomplished.

First, Johnson dominated Peach Jam in the summer. Then, in Colorado Springs last weekend, Johnson made sure that everyone knew his name by the end of USA Basketball mini-camp. Check it out:

Johnson is 6-foot-6 forward out of Virginia with crazy bounce, a smooth jumper and an uncanny work ethic. Most Oak Hill players don’t exactly fly under the radar, but somehow, Johnson has managed to. His name isn’t mentioned with players like Zion Williamson and Immanuel Quickley, both social media stars who are verified on Instagram. Williamson has over one million followers, and Quickley has around 16,000. As for Johnson, the seventh ranked player in his class? Seven-thousand.

“I felt like I came here underrated.”

But, that doesn’t mean colleges haven’t noticed him. KJ received offers from over 20 schools, and has narrowed down his choices to Kentucky, Florida State, NC State, Texas, and Maryland. It’s easy to see what they like about him:

After his performance at USA Basketball camp, Johnson won’t be underrated for much longer.
